Surfside is a suburb in north Batemans Bay. It is the closest beach to drive to from Canberra.

The conditions at Surfside beach are variable, from safe family-friendly swimming to large and powerful waves. It is a beach worth exploring and can be a great place to swim, snorkel, kayak or do many other water sports. It is a great place to relax.

Accommodation options are plentiful across the suburb. There is an IGA with takeaway at the beach side Vista, a hairdresser and more. Several tour operators and other businesses call Surfside home.

Surfside is the gateway to Cullundulla Nature Reserve, a wonderful place to explore.
